Google surprised a few hours ago by releasing a first official video of its future mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 10a. This 15-second teaser confirms a major design change and gives a glimpse of the colors of this new generation.
A perfectly integrated camera module
The most striking evolution revealed by the "Made by Google" video concerns the back of the phone. Unlike the previous year's model, which featured a "bump" or raised bezel around the camera module, the Pixel 10a introduces a completely flat dual-camera system.
The sensors are now perfectly aligned with the back surface of the device, eliminating any protrusion. The video also features a fluid and playful transition between the company's "G" logo and this new photo module, highlighting this rediscovered sleekness.
The return of the "Iris" colorway
The teaser presents the smartphone in a shade blue-purple that strongly recalls the "Iris" color already seen on previous models. The visual atmosphere of the clip, with a "berry" colored background, suggests that other bright color variants will likely be part of the launch. For the rest, the general aesthetic remains faithful to the visual codes of the A series, drawing inspiration directly from the flagships of the current Pixel range.

While the video focuses on the design, Google remains silent on the technical specifications. No internal specifications or prices have been communicated for the moment.
Although the hardware seems very close to the previous generation (apart from the flattening of the camera module), this message raises hopes for software surprises, potentially related to AI features or computational photography.
