Comments allow readers to supplement an article, ask a question, or express disagreement. To maintain useful and welcoming exchanges, their publication requires adherence to this policy.

Participation Rules

Comments must remain relevant to the article and respect other participants.

Specifically not accepted:

  • insults, threats, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory remarks;
  • harassment and disclosure of personal data concerning a third party;
  • advertising, repetitive, automated, or clearly off-topic messages;
  • dangerous, fraudulent, or purely promotional links;
  • illegal content or content infringing copyright;
  • identity theft and intentionally misleading information likely to cause harm.

Moderation

Comments may be reviewed before or after publication. Wamigeek may refuse, hide, modify solely to remove obvious personal data, or delete a comment that violates this policy or the law.

Moderation is not intended to remove reasoned disagreements. Criticism is welcome when it concerns ideas, products, or information, and not individuals.

Personal Data

The name or pseudonym and the comment are public. The requested email address is not published. The IP address and certain technical information may be recorded for moderation and security purposes.

Comments are analyzed by Akismet to detect spam. A Gravatar avatar may be displayed based on the email address used. For more details, consult the privacy policy.

Do not include your address, phone number, password, banking information, or any other confidential data in a comment.

Withdrawal request

The author of a comment may request its deletion or anonymization using the contact form, providing the necessary details to locate the relevant comment. Reasonable verification may be performed to prevent a third party from requesting deletion on their behalf.

Reporting

In the absence of a dedicated reporting function, a clearly illegal or dangerous comment may be reported using the contact form, including the article's address and a precise description of the content concerned.
