Transparency, affiliation, donations, and sponsored content

Wamigeek aims to fund its operations without display advertising. This page explains the forms of support or remuneration that may be used and the editorial independence rules applied.
Current situation
As of the update date of this page, Wamigeek is published on a non-professional basis and does not yet receive any revenue. The systems described below will be clearly indicated when they are actually activated.
Amazon affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. If a reader makes a purchase after following one of these links, Wamigeek may receive a commission, without any increase in the price paid by the reader.
The presence of an affiliate link does not influence the editorial assessment of a product. Flaws, limitations, and alternatives may be presented freely.
Required mention by the Amazon program and intended to be clearly displayed as soon as affiliation is activated:
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Articles containing remunerated links will also include a visible indication at the beginning of the article, for example: "This article contains affiliate links."
Sponsored content and provided products
An article produced in exchange for payment, benefit, or a provided product will be identified immediately, explicitly, and visibly, notably by the mention "Advertising", "Sponsored Article", or "Commercial Collaboration".
A partner company will not be able to impose a positive opinion or obtain the removal of a factual review. When relevant, the article will also indicate if the product was loaned, gifted, or must be returned.
Purely editorial content will not be presented as sponsored, and sponsored content will not be disguised as independent recommendations.
Support Wamigeek with Buy Me a Coffee
Readers may, if they wish, provide voluntary financial support through Buy Me a Coffee. A donation does not grant any right to influence articles, does not guarantee any return, and does not alter the editorial treatment of a brand or product.
Payment is managed on the Buy Me a Coffee website. Wamigeek does not receive the contributor's bank details.
No display advertising
Wamigeek does not plan to use traditional advertising banners. If this policy changes, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before the new system is activated.
